Get To Know Gregory and Samuel
Gregory and Samuel have been training to be in business all of their short lives. Coming from a homeschooling family of 6 kids plus a mom and dad who all have entrepreneurial ambitions it was easy to follow in those footsteps and open their own venture. The Button Boys is overseen by the boy's mother Maddie Kertay as she runs her own embroidery design business and oversees their homeschooling. The business of The Button Boys is integrated into the boy's homeschooling curriculum giving a real life answer to that age old question asked by 100's of years of school aged kids... " But why do we have to learn math?" To Greg and Sam the use of math is obvious when it comes to figuring button orders, paper pounds and expense and profit statements.
When not cranking out button orders the boys enjoy activities with their local homeschooling group and hanging out at the local science museum as well has many at home hobbies. Gregory is currently learning wood turning on his lathe and Samuel is immersed in the world of birds with the acquisition of a new rare albino parakeet to go along with the family's 10 other pets.
